LOCOMOTIVE Cranks Out Three New Releases For September
September 3, 2006The month of September will delight the ears and eyes of those who love metal. Locomotive once again releases music for those who just want to rock.
On September 12, MANTICORA will take listeners on a mystic metal ride with their fifth full-length album, "The Black Circus, Part 1 – Letters". The first release of a two-album concept project, "The Black Circus" tells the story of the horrific perils of a traveling circus in the 19th century. Blending dramatic theatrical themes with unrelenting power metal, MANTICORA's latest release engages the listener in an enigmatic adventure they won't soon forget.
Also on September 12, expect to see more action from the Bang Your Head!!! festival. In a celebration of its 10th anniversary, exciting acts from the past festivals returned to the stage in 2005 to rock out once more. "Bang Your Head!!! Festival 2005" captures this weekend that reveled in metal celebration. Including live performances by DORO, SEBASTIAN BACH, MOTÖRHEAD, TWISTED SISTER, and SAXON, this 2-DVD set is sure to be the ultimate head-banging experience.
There is more rock to come on September 26. Originally released in 1987, "Finished with the Dogs" was the second release of four-piece German metal band HOLY MOSES. Brought back to the masses, this re-release includes four live bonus tracks. Don't think this CD will lack relevance after almost 20 years? The album is charged with pulsing energy that will have original fans reminiscing and challenge new fans to listen up and pay attention.
